Outstanding matchplay, exceptional facilities, and unforgettable memories

I am sad to share our difficult decision to cancel the Malvern College Cricket Festivals for summer 2026. This has not been taken lightly. The team has worked extremely hard to engage counties and build a strong programme, but the overwhelming feedback has been that touring for girls’ cricket has largely paused following recent ECB changes.

 

Our priority has always been to deliver festivals that offer a high-quality experience, with strong competition and a real sense of camaraderie for players and coaches alike. Unfortunately, under the current circumstances, we do not feel we can provide the standard that participants expect and deserve this year.

 

Malvern College has a proud cricketing tradition and we are genuinely disappointed that the festivals will not be operating this summer. However, we remain hopeful that this is only for the summer of 2026. We are optimistic that circumstances will evolve, and we very much look forward to reintroducing the festivals in the summer of 2027.
